She was born in Paranaque, Philippines on July 20, 1941, to Galicano and Ligaya Rodriguez.
She graduated college from St. Paul’s University in Manila, majoring in Business Administration. She worked for SDG&E for 15 years, retiring in August 1996.
She was the oldest of five siblings, survived by Elson Rodriguez, Myrna Saddul, Vinson Rodriguez, and Winston Rodriguez. She is also survived by her three children (and spouse), Zorinna Aceron (Lincon), Zinnia Blythe (Dave) and Rainier Bernardo (Jenny); and her five grandchildren, Stephanie Aceron, Frank Blythe, Brittney Aceron, Hannah Blythe, and Zachary Aceron.
Zenaida’s priority was her family and made sure everyone was taken care of, especially with her joy of cooking. She will always be remembered for her contagious smile and laughter. She was well loved and will truly be missed.
A Visitation for Zenaida will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Magnolia Room at Glen Abbey Memorial Park. A Funeral Mass will occur Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Charles Catholic Church. A Committal Service will follow from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
