Virginia Rose Caspers

She was born October 30, 1932, in New Munich, MN. Virginia was the tenth born of 12 children to Margaret Mary Katherine Buschmann and Herman Hinnenkamp. She was raised in Melrose, MN, where she went to school and has shared fond memories of being a farm girl. She married Raymond Leo Caspers on September 17, 1953 in St Josephs, MN. They moved to Chula Vista, CA where she was a homemaker and started her family.

Virginia “Ginger” was a hard worker in all she did, always having to finish a project. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, baking, and planning family vacations. She worked at her sister’s ceramic shop for several years, and later retired from her retail job with Mervyn’s. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed road trips to visit her relatives, and destination vacationing with her husband. She was fun loving and always enjoyed a good laugh. Her devotion to the Catholic religion was of utmost importance and she brought up her children in the faith. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her five children, Joyce (Charles) Ault of Gold Canyon, AZ, Diane (Robert) Delbuono of Plant City, FL, Brenda (Mark) Rendon of Santee, CA, Daniel Caspers of San Diego, CA, and Cynthia (James) Hargrove of Santee, CA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren; her brothers; Arthur (Luella) Hinnenkamp of Minneapolis, MN, Herman Hinnenkamp of Melrose, MN, Wilfred (Donna) Hinnenkamp of Melrose, MN, and Harold (Carol) Hinnenkamp of Maple Lake, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond of 59 years, her brothers, Erwin Hinnenkamp, Walter Hinnenkamp, her sisters, Rosalia (Hubert) Wieber, Lucille (Alphonse) Loecken, Hildegard (Joseph) Knops, Luella (Harold) Williams, Margaret (Eberhard) Eiynck, and her parents.

A private visitation and grave-side service will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the Glenn Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
