Bob graduated from Redmond High School in 1984. He moved to Palms Springs in 1987, where he met the love of his life, Miriam Hayward. After a year together, Bob moved to San Diego to be with Miriam. He put himself through technical school at Coleman College to become a computer systems engineer. Bob spent 17 years as a leading technician in the industry working for companies like Hitachi and EMC.
They were married on August 21, 1993 in Jacksonville, Oregon. Bob and Miriam have lived in the San Diego area for all of their married lives. They welcomed their son Michael on October 12, 2000.
Bob enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing and the outdoors. Bob and Michael loved to spend time building legos, robots and shooting videos together. Two of the videos can be seen on You Tube: michaelakashamu “Kevin Makes Pizza” and “The Scorpion”. He loved his dog Dusty and the family spent many hours at the dog park or at the beach together. Bob learned to surf with his brother Jack and they surfed together around “the Big Island” of Hawaii including the beautiful Wipio Valley.

Bob was a devoted husband and father showering is family with love on a daily basis. He passed on August 20, 2010. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
