Hi Mamang, i was so sad that we did not meet again before you go but my heart was really grateful that you still remembered me. I will pray for you to have eternal repose with our Almighty God.

A mom is always the best judge of character especially over her own children.  She is always there for you from the moment you were born through all the hardships and adversity you face until and even after you grow up to be the adult you were always meant to become.  She sees you at your worst and also at your best.  When you succeed she's the first to congratulate you and make you feel like you are at the top of the world and when you fail she's the first to offer a helping hand.  I'm not saying a mom is perfect, she also has flaws like anybody else; she makes mistakes and knows just how to embarrass us.

But, in my case, MAMANG was perfect.  She grew up without the love and guidance of a mother but turned out to be the best mother I could have ever wished for.  She, the one who loved and cared for her family becoming the heart and glue that kept us together.

She taught me so many things. 

To love unconditionally.

To respect your elders.

To forgive the people who have done you wrong not because they deserve it but to give you peace of mind.

To greet each day with a smile...no matter what you are going through, there are is always somebody out there who would love to be in your shoes.  So always be grateful.  Thank God everyday for the blessings you receive no matter how small they may seem. 

Live your life the way you want it. 

And finally, be happy.


Here's the poem I made into a card and gave it to you my senior year of high school which you kept after all these years.

When I look back over my life,
No matter when or where,
At every age, step and stage,
Mamang was always there...

When good times filled our living room
And laughter filled the air
It warms me now to think of how
Mamang was always there...

When I had news to celebrate
Or favorite dreams to share,
Her pride in me was plain to see
Mamang was always there...

When times were bad and I was sad
That life seems so unfair,
Her words of cheer could dry my tears
Mamang was always there...

And still today I'm proud to say
I feel your love and care
In the deepest part of my grateful heart...
Thanks for always being there.

Rest in Peace apong Pecing; we lose you here on earth but heaven gained.  You will be forever in our hearts and will be missed. Thank you for everything. Until we meet again.

IT Will never be the same again i love u and no words is enough how can i express My feelings of loosing you My dear grandma.Im so sorry that could be there with you during your last day on earth❤❤❤We love you and even that your gone your still in our heart and still there always in every day we live.Im also LUCKY to have the privilage to have you as My grandma your Always there for us and so much patience and sacrife youve Done for us.
