Pedro (Pete) Vega Carbajal was born 5/19/1932 in Miami, Arizona. He was 1 of 9 born to Eufemia and Manuel Carbajal. He joined the Navy in 1948 and retired as a Senior Chief in 1968. He then joined the Civil Service and worked for 40 additional years.
In 1958 he married his wife Olga in Tijuana, Mexico. After many years of traveling, in 1966 they bought their home in Chula Vista, Ca where they would raise their 3 children, Raul, Silvia and Frances.
Pedro was a very hard working, giving man who enjoyed time with his family. He always had a smile on his face or was making someone laugh. Theres nothing he wouldn't do to help out a family member or a friend. He was a handy man who had endless “honey-do’s” and always kept busy.
He passed away November 7, 2014. He is survived by his wife, his 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
