Moraima Alfiler Dayrit

On Sunday January 8, 2023 at 2:30 am, Moraima A. Dayrit, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully in her home. She was 90 years old. She was born to Arcadio and Maria Juanengo on November 14, 1932 in the Philippines. She married her beloved husband, Epifanio M. Dayrit in the Philippines. They had just celebrated their marriage of 70 years on January 4, 2023.

Moraima is survived by her husband Epifanio, her children Manny, Elvie, Ver, Edmond and Edwin. Her eldest son Eder is deceased. She has 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Moraima was a devoted wife and mother, she took care of all of her children and grandchildren full time. She was such a knowledgeable woman, a jack of all trades. She was full of wisdom and generosity.

Her favorite things were the TV shows Naked and Afraid, Beat Bobby Flay and Alone. She loved going to Barona Casino and had many friends there. She loved shopping at 32nd Naval Exchange and went almost daily when she was independent. At home she enjoyed her orchids, the company of her family and word searches. She will be sorely missed, she was an amazing, beautiful woman.
