Mr Oregel and his Family were always very nice to me and my Family. He did not care what color you were and he respected everyone. I will never forget him,he would always have a little chat with me to see how I was and always encouraged me to try and succeed in life. I m very sorry to here he had passed ,he loved his family and I know he would do anything to help them in anyway. A great an honourable man ,and I will try and be like him. I was glad that I got to know him. Thank you Mr Oregel I miss you and Rest in peace.

I will always remember his smile his jokes the way he would tell me about life and not sugarcoat things the way he prepared me for my hardest ventures in life and how he prepared me for the most difficult time I would ever have to endure and that was losing him I love you grandfather and until I see you again know that I will spend my life making you proud by being a good man a good husband and being humble and appreciating every moment as it comes I thank God for all the time that I had to spend with you as a child and for always being there for me and never leaving me behind. A great man and a great teammate, will miss you from the field of dreams, Bobby Williams.

My sympathy to Marcelino's family. As a team mate or competitor on the soccer field over the last 20 years, his presense always made the day brighter and more fun. In informal and on the field kidding and conversations, you always knew he had a great love for his family.  Us old guys will keep playing with his memory.

My sincere condolences on the loss of Marcelino.  I knew him only from playing soccer with and against him for at least the last decade.  I have many good memories of him from that period.

Cuando fui niña esperaba siempre con emoción que regresaran a México, cuando se iban me entristecía  y en san Diego  siempre me sentí con ustedes como en mi casa, sonrió al traer esos tiempos a mi pensamiento...Ahora recuerdo todo con cariño, admiro el valor que tuvo a lo largo de su vida y la manera en que sin darse cuenta influyo en el resto de la familia...Lo recuerdo bailando en todas las fiestas, sonriendo, acompañando a mama Geña, se queda conmigo su ejemplo para salir adelante y las tazas de café que nos regalo para los días aquellos en que nos tenia café por las mañanas...Con su partida siento que se  lleva un poco de mi Mamá Geña, pero se que ahora está a su lado.. Aquí los que quedamos, seguiremos honrando su vida haciéndole saber a nuestros hijos lo importante que es para nuestra familia.

He did a wonderful job raising his family.  Now, they are doing him proud demonstrating their love with the way they are honoring him.  I'm sorry for all your aching hearts.

Dear Oregel family,
   We are deeply sorry for your loss. May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope. We are thankful to reunite our family in heaven with Lord.

Oregel and Michel Families, We are deeply sorry that your wonderful husband, father and grandpa has passed away.  I looked at all the photos and they made me smile AND cry. We are never promised a life of eternity. .But if we had, we would have lived like Marcelino. He was a dedicated man to his family. His soft natured demeanor and smile lit up the room. I will miss his commentaries on soccer.  May the Glory of God pave the way to Heaven. I pray for the strength of his family.
