My beautiful Abuelito,

If there was one word I could describe you with, it would be the word FAMILY. I know your family meant the world to you and with the love of our precious Abuelita, you created a grand and beautiful family. Thank you for showing me the value of family and for showing me how to love and live my life. 

Many people do not understand Gods love for us, we are his children and he loves us unconditionally, no matter what we do, HIS door, GODS door and loving embrace is always open to us. Abuelito, you showed that same LOVE for all of us, your LOVE has been the greatest example of love I have ever had the pleasure to feel and witness. Thank you for raising such a loving and beautiful woman in your daughter, Carmelita. She has raised me with the same love you have showed her and you have now given me the greatest gift life has to offer, unconditional LOVE.

I am so thankful for EVERYTHING you have done for me and my family, but there are a few memories that I will cherish more than anything, the moments that you got to hold my beautiful daughter Nayeli and my handsome little bald son Lil Vic. Their Grandpa Vic never got to meet them or hold them, but you did and those moments have meant the world to me. 

You are now reunited with your lifelong LOVE, our Abuelita Lorenza, and my strong and handsome Father in Heaven. I will forever hold you in my heart and I look forward to the day that I can hug you and kiss your head one more time when my time comes on Earth.

Gracias a Dios por haberme dado el privilegio de un padre tan hermoso y sabio cómo tú. Te voy a extrañar mucho físicamente, pero se que en mi corazón estás tú. Me has dejado una gran enseñanza de vida y amor. Gracias por los sabios consejos que me diste cuando yo te los pedía. Prometo seguirte honrando tu memoria. Fue una bendición que Dios me dio al permitirme estar a tú lado hasta el último momento de tu vida . Quiero que sepas que lo hice con todo mi amor y que disfrute cada momento contigo. Trate de llenar tus tristezas con mi presencia, mi sonrisa y mi familia. Te doy las gracias papacito por decirme que tengo un corazón de oro. Pues ese corazón de oro lo heredé de mis dos primeros amores de ti y mi mamá. Toda mi vida giró alrededor de ustedes, y cuando formé mi familia les enseñé a quererlos respetarlos y ayudarlos en lo que se necesitará.

Abuelito, your frijolito is going to miss you.  Thank you for being such a nice grandpa and having the patience with so many kids running around your home. I don’t think I ever heard you raise your voice to us once and truth be told we deserved it.  Thank you for being such a good example of what a man, a husband  and a father is supposed to be. I want you to know that I was paying attention to the life lessons that you where teaching us.  The best lessons to learn is when they are not spoken ,but when they are proven.  Give my abuelita a big hug and kiss from all of us. Love you always.  

My grandpa was the kind of man who didn’t like to be wrong, because he was usually always right. He possessed so much wisdom that You could listen to his stories all day long and never grow tired of them. He was the strongest, smartest and most generous man I have ever met. I will miss his stories, anecdotes, advice and the loving way he called me ‘Guerrito’. I will mostly miss how his eyes would light up when we would see each other, and how incredible proud he was of me. He knew he was directly responsible for all my achievements in life, from caring for me as a toddler to providing advise through my teenage years. The bond we created during those early years is something we both cherished and always held on too. While I will miss not having him around for our future events I am happy he got to see me become the man I am today and for all the love and admiration he had for my wife and kids. I love and miss you abuelito 💔
