My heart is heavy with sadness to announce that my husband, Larry Dean Hayes passed away peacefully in his sleep last November 28, 2018. He was 59 years old. He was born on February 6, 1959 to Charles Larry and Mary Lynn Hayes in Bakersfield, California. He lived in La Mesa and East County until his passing. I met my husband at San Diego Superior Court where I worked and he was working as a Private Investigator for one of the big law firms in San Diego in the early ‘90’s. It was love at first sight. We dated and were together since then and in September 2005 we decided to get married. It was a marriage full of love, adventure, fun, laughter and tears and it was a wonderful partnership. We loved to travel and eat out. He was a property investor and real estate broker. He retired after his stroke in late December 2009. He re-invented himself by making watches, silver jewelries and later on beach cruiser bicycles. Larry accomplished many things in life. He loved baseball and loved talking about his baseball brothers. He touched so many lives, a wonderful man in many ways and his sense of humor brightened people’s lives. He was a great husband, lover, best friend and confidante. He is survived by Maria Simona (wife), Mark (brother), Kim (sister), Auntie Pattie, Uncle Earl, Chris (step mom), nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters in-law and last but not least "Mush", our fur baby.
I love and miss you so much. Your memory will be with us forever. RIP
