Josefina G. Flores

Josefina G. Flores, age 87, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2018. A devout Catholic she attended St. Jude’s Shrine of the West for many years. She is survived by her three children; Cruz, Gloria and Francisco, her grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, her sisters and many nieces and nephews. She was a loving mother with a myriad of attributes to be admired. She tended to her children and their offspring with unconditional love. Cooking something different every day was a must; for sure a full belly at end of day. Of course with her budget friendly resourceful skills every meal was delicious. One of her various talents included crocheting – left many beautiful samples to be cherished. Continually wanting to learn more she attended classes in nearby school settings and contributed to her household by being the Avon, Stanley Products, clothing and blanket lady in her neighborhood. She was loved by her neighbors for her generosity and caring heart. Her resourcefulness and sometimes stubborn demeanor helped her to meet life’s challenges head on when her husband passed away many years ago.

Funeral services will be held at Glen Abbey.
