Johannah Marie Rivera Rafanan

grew up in Orlando, Florida, Long Beach, San Diego and Murrieta, California. Johannah shared many of the experiences growing up with her sister, Meriel Ann R. Sabino and her brother, Jeremy R. Rafanan. Johannah graduated from Murrieta Valley High School in 1999.

A person's working life is a very important part of who they are and Johannah was no different. She worked for Abbott laboratories for six years as an operator microscope inspector and made numerous friends.

Johannah enjoyed life to the fullest and liked to spend her free time snowboarding, going to the river, to the beach and to the gym. She also enjoyed baseball and hanging out with her friends and family. She was a social butterfly!

Johannah lost her brave battle with gastric cancer on July 18, 2013. She passed away in the Riverside County Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Johannah is survived by her father, Ernie Rafanan, her mother, Belma Rafanan, her sister, Meriel and nephew, Jarel, her brother, Jeremy, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Her funeral service will be at the Glen Abbey Memorial Chapel in Bonita, California on Saturday July 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita immediately following the funeral service.
