Bonner, Jo Ann passed away unexpectedly at home on February 21, 2020, at the age of 73 years. She was born in Knox City, Texas on March 13, 1946. She is predeceased by Joe Allen Bonner, her loving husband of 18 years. Her parents, Robert and Georgia Sadler, and her first granddaughter Lily Opal Lindsey. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Lindsey of Vacaville; her son, John Bonner and his wife, Lucy, of San Diego; and her brother, Gary Sadler and his wife, Bonnie, of Georgia. She is lovingly remembered by her greatest joys, her grandchildren: Christopher Lindsey, Joey Bonner, Trinity Lindsey, and Ryan Bonner. She loved to share stories of her childhood when she visited her grandparents in Texas. Her favorite place to live as a child was St. John's, Newfoundland. She absolutely loved to play outdoors for hours when she was a child. Some of the many things that made her smile were her adoring family, puppies, sunsets and sunrises, flowers, and beautiful vistas. As an adult, she wasn't one to let the grass grow under her feet. She kept busy and belonged to three organizations: Beta Sigma Phi for over 50 years, the Chula Vista Genealogy Society, and the Linares Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution. Her hobbies included traveling the world with her grandchildren, reading, photography, cake decorating, and all types of crafts. The top of her list was always family and friends that were like family. She loved to go out to eat, especially for Mexican Food. She will be greatly missed by all that were lucky enough to have known her.
