Jesús was born on November 14, 1947 in Mexico. He was the son of Manuel Viramontes and Victoria Medina. Jesús grew up in Tijuana, Baja California and had four sisters, Rebecca, Maria, Lola and Graciela, and five brothers, Jorge, Miguel, Juan, Tony and Ricardo.
Jesús exchanged wedding vows with Aurora Quiroz in Tijuana, Baja California. Empathic and loyal, Jesús was committed to making his new family happy. Jesús and Aurora were blessed with five children, three sons, Ernesto, Jesus II and Ivan, and two daughters, Claudia and Alicia. Jesús worked hard to be a good husband and father. Another blessing for Jesús later in life was the gift of ten grandchildren.
Fortunately, Jesús enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Jesús worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career as an auto mechanic. He was employed for over 30 years in this line of work doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Jesús enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were music; piano, drums, base and particularly playing the guitar. Also, he also enjoyed photography. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share his interests with others.
Jesús passed away on March 24, 2012 in San Diego, California. He is survived by his children Ernesto, Jesus II, Ivan, Claudia and Alicia, and his ten grandchildren with an additional grandchild on the way. Services were held at The Little Chapel of the Roses in Bonita, California. Jesús was laid to rest in Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
Simply stated, Jesús was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Jesús leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Jesús Viramontes.
