Everyone’s life is the sum total of all of the people they have met, the things they have done, the places they have gone. Jason was no exception. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Jason will be remembered as an exceptional person.
Jason O. Russell life journey began on August 10, 1970. He first greeted the world in San Diego, California, but was raised in El Cajon, California. His parents' were Ed Grant and Nancy Russell. He was raised with one brother, Eric. Jason was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his family sharing many life experiences over the years.
Jason was a typical teenager who had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. He graduated from Granite Hills High School in 1988.
While everything a person does in life contributes to who they grow into, it is ultimately this same person who holds the most influence on the next generation. Jason was blessed a daughter, Audrey Kay Lynn Russell. Jason worked hard to be a good father to his daughter and he did his best to fulfill her needs, raising his daughter in a positive and nurturing environment.
How a person performs in the workplace can be a reflection on how they live their life. Fortunately, Jason enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Jason worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his job. Jason worked at F.O.S. for 12 years.
A person's hobbies often mirror who they have become. Jason enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in a number of different activities, including building Hot rods, cars and boating with his brother. He also enjoyed drag races with his family and friends.
Jason O. Russell left us on February 18, 2014. He passed away his home. He was 43 years old. He is survived by his Mother Nancy Russell, Brother Eric, his daughter Audrey Russell and Father Ed Grant. Services were handled by Glen Abbey Mortuary. A Funeral Service was held at The Little Chapel of the Roses at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California on Friday, March 7, 2014. Jason was laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
So this is Jason’s life, the sum of the man that he became. Simply stated, Jason was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being caring and giving, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Jason leaves behind him a legacy of lifelong friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life Jason O. Russell touched will always remember him with a smile.
