I don't have any siblings, so when I was younger and I met the Williams, the Papa's, and the Ragsdale boys I thought I hit the jackpot in brothers. We're all not just "cousins" but friends. You could never get mad at Junior with that baby face of his.  Even though I called him and Arik my "baby cousins" when we would go to parties in our 20's, those two were always looking out for me. Some of my favorite evenings were just listening to Junior, John, Jamul, Dino, and Arik clowning each other they could make me laugh for hours. I'll never forget how much you've made me laugh, Junior. When I hear the Parkland boys joking around I still hear your laugh and I feel that you are with us.  I will miss you dearly. Love you always baby cousin.     

My kids Michael and Tracy loves you so much like a family.  I feel that you and Sasha and the kids are my family too. September 2018, that’s the last time that we’re with you. It was Tracy’s bday party at the Coronado beach. I can see the joy of your family and my kids' family together. It’s so sad that you’re not gonna be there next year. But you will be in my family’s heart.  We will pray that God will watch over your family especially Sasha and your beautiful girls.  Rest In Peace son.  God bless. Justice for Horace. I will never understand how such a terrible event could happen to such an amazing person.  Horace, i will forever remember all the memories we share together.  From all the poker nights at your house, to the nights out on the town, the late night casino runs that you, butch and i had, the time you let me tag along to my first evo tournament in vegas, and so many more.  All though you have been taken from us way to early, the memories of you that i have will never be taken away.  You will always be my brother. Rest in Paradise. 

Horace, no one will ever understand why you were taken from us. Why we were robbed of your always smiling, always loyal, kind and gentle soul.  There is so much pain, anger and darkness surrounding how you were stolen from us all.  You were too much of an honorable person and devoted family man to have come across such cold blooded evil. This can't be real that you aren't here with us today.  We are still in disbelief, denial, still numb that we can't even think. But we do know for sure you're in God's hands now, and he will bring comfort to us mourning you. We will make sure that justice will be served and that your family, your true one and only love, Sasha and your baby girls will be taken care of. You're in the real paradise hills now. And when we heard that Horace passed, that thought immediately came to mind: why do the good have to die young? Horace was truly a genuine good guy.  His loss is a tragedy. The world was cheated, Heaven was blessed. Horace will truly be missed.  Our prayers are with you, Horace, and your beautiful daughters, Sasha, your family and friends and all the people who loved you.

For me the thing i think about the most was when everyone would get together at the Williams’ house for poker night to play Texas hold them.  Horace would always be Anxious to get the game started and he would push to organize all of us. He would pay as if we were in Vegas and like he was in the pro circuit. Horace would have on his sunglasses and try his best to keep that straight poker face though the games. Those were some of the best times I ever shared with Horace and the rest of the family. Those are the days I always look back on and will always be thankful to Horace for sharing that with me.

I remember having a marketing class with Horace in high school.  He always had a smile on his face, which I will never forget. Rest in paradise Horace.

I’ve always considered Horace a close friend. Playing on the Morse FB Team for several years together always cracking jokes on the field. Outside of school we would kick it with other close friends and just hang out like family. I don’t ever remember a time where he ever lost his temper. He was always in control of himself when we were kickin it.  I can’t understand why someone would take this mans life being the Horace. I would see his posts up on FB from time to time and make comments to each other, I really wished I hit him up to go out and just kick it and reminisce about the past. My heart goes out to his family and daughters. God Bless you Horace and all his Family. 

I remember when I first met you at the park , it was fun you had a big smile on your face . You were a great dad to not only me but to my sisters . We laughed all the time , you will always be in my ❤️ . I remember going to many places with you Sasha and my sisters , like the Zoo, Sea  World and Disneyland

I remember your smile like it was just yesterday the last time we saw you was Nov 4, 2018 we were at Johns Incredible Pizza. You , Sasha and the girls walked into one of the many rooms they have I was stuffing my face with pizza, I looked up turned right and there you guys stood you waived hi with that cheesy smile of yours , we were getting ready to leave . I’ll always remember this day forever , I bless Sasha for bringing our girls together what she calls. (GIRL POWER)  I want to say I love you for leaving a precious gift for me ( Estela America ) who will carry on that bright beautiful smile of yours. I promise to stick with Sasha, the girls and your family side because I know that’s what you would have wanted, May you Rest in Paradise until we meet again ❤️

I didn’t know Horace personally but the couple months I did know him he sure did make a great impact on myself. You see I work at Arco Gas station and Horace was one of my regular customers, coming in to fill up and get his goodies. He would always be smiling and very nice to us. The last time I saw him we were talking about how happy he was with the Holidays coming up and all the parties he had with family and friends. Every time he came in I would ask about his kids and wife and his smile would light up as he talked about them. I remember thinking this guy is a devoted person. To his family and friends my prayers are with You all. He will be missed.

I've written so many versions of this only to delete it and rewrite it. I can hear you as I type and worry..."ah geez Tracy!" with your big teddy bear smile. I think that's why we were best friends. Mixed together we just made perfect sense. I was telling Sasha the other night how hard you fell for her, how you use to call me (numerous times) asking me for advice because "This girl Sasha...she's different. She's special..."  to you giving me advice about Michael and eventually standing by our side on our wedding day as our Best Man.  These past few years, we grew together...We shared each other's dreams, supported each other, looked at our kids thinking "one day they'll be just as close as us..." our families grew together so tightly that we inevitably became one. We took family trips, starting many family traditions...no matter what we did, we just knew if we were going someplace...you guys would be there. You and I became friends long before Michael came into our lives...but he was what forever bonded us. He was your bromate. We always teased who loved him more.  My heart, my family will never be the same because you've left us too soon. But what I promise to you...sister to bromate that I will love your girls, your family, your wifey with the same reverence that you had for mine. Your legacy will live on brother...in all those who you have touched through your unwavering loyalty, unconditional respect, nostalgic love and pure kindness that you had for everyone.  It will live in me as I strive to be the kind of sibling, partner and friend that you were. You have inspired so many people just because you had a genuinely kind soul. You will continue to live in all of us. I promise to pass on the amazing adventures and tales of the man greater than Chuck Norris....Horace Williams :) you will never be forgotten. It’s a SATURDAY  during the summer of 2018!!!! Hilltop Girls let each other know they are going to sea world to have a play date with the kids!!! We notice all the dads in our group are pushing the strollers! Us girls notice and begin to joke and make fun of them (we were being mean) making fun of them and how their Saturday’s have changed, their Saturday’s used to be hanging with friends and partying and now it was time to raise our kids and make sure the kids were having fun at the sea world Dance Party!! I remember Sasha and Horace had their system down between the two of them. One of them would juggle the twins while the other made sure Amelia and Amaya didn’t miss out on anything! It was so admiring!!! The best part of all we captured a photo!!! 

I remember back when Jay and I were dating and he would tell me he was gonna go chill over at Horace's house and go watch the game. It was never to a club or bar. Usually it ended with them going to out to eat.
After 9 years I finally had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Horace himself along with the crew, his fiancé and baby girl (at the time).

Jay and I would go to Kobey's swap meet just to hang out with them. I admired their friendship and I would just watch Jay, Horace and John just make jokes. They were constantly laughing and it was always a great time. 

Horace was loyal to say the least. He was devoted to his fiancé, his girls, and his family/friends.  He was the type to have a very strong opinion and you would know if you were out of line.

But Horace had a smile that was contagious. And had jokes for days.

When I think back and flip through the pages of memories Horace and I have shared together, I’ll always remember the days of our youth when life was less complicated. 

The days when we would walk home from school, kick rocks, mess with Billy and Arik from time to time and just talk about anything and everything. You taught me the ways of 3 way calling, graffiti block lettering, baby bridges and how to lose almost always in any video game I played with you. You were a good friend and eventually became a great man. I’ll miss you my friend

Horace was such an interesting person. He was a jack of all trades. He did what ever he had to do to provide for his family. My husband and him gravitated towards each other. At every party and gathering of the “hilltop girls” they would grab a beer and just sit back and laugh at us together. Brian would always have a new exciting story about Horace. Like that he was #1 in the world at a video game when he was a kid and because of that he got tickets to comic con for free every year! He was such a cool guy. Full of story’s and experiences that left us with our mouths open! We already miss you so much and will always feel the void that is left by you. Thank you for always being there with my friend and your beautiful girls!

Horace, I have fond memories of you. Watching how much of a good dad are you for your girls. You are so sweet to them and caring. Seeing you mostly at Tracy and Michael's parties, I admired the friendship you guys have. You and Sasha are part of our family. You always will be. May your soul rest in peace. My prayer is God will grant justice for your death. 

I didn’t personally  know you, but I would always see you around national city and always with your girls in tow. 

The love for your girls could be seen miles away, if there’s anything I can say to your girls is; that even as a stranger I could see how much you loved them. 

Rest In Peace Horace 

Horace...I can’t begin to express into words how much we love you. To see you become a father over and over, and watch the love for your daughters take over everything was incredible. Some of my first memories of you are from Christmas. I brought deviled eggs and everyone joked and made fun of it....but before we knew it, they were all gone and I was bringing them to every gathering. You always made me feel so welcome, always included me with everything and continued to make me feel like family before I was. All of the times we were together were filled with laughter, reminiscing of the good old days as kids, and endless stories. One of our last times together, was Amelia’s 6th birthday. Arik was out of town, we came up with this big scheme to trick Arik into thinking we were actually driving to see him in Vegas. We took a photo of some of us in the car, pretending like we were on the freeway driving. Goodness, the laughs. I will miss your laughter, your big smile that never went away. I am forever grateful to have you as my family, my cousin. Arik and I are proud to be apart of all of the girls lives, they will never forget their daddy. It was just this summer you and Sasha asked Arik and I to be God Parents to the twins. We are forever grateful and will protect those twins and all of your girls Horace. We love you endlessly. ♥️
May you rest in a place surrounded by gummie bears, video games and comics, knowing that Sasha and the girls are cherished, taken care of and loved. 

I personally did not know Horace but from elementary, middle school and high school I remember him. We had a lot of the same friends but didn’t actually know each other, but when I heard the horrible news it broke my heart. I’m sorry I never got a chance to know him! My heart and prayers go out to his family.

I looked forward to weekend football games on Blanford with all the homies in the neighborhood. It seemed like half of those kids were either Horace’s brothers or cousin!  As I reflect, it wasn’t so much the game that made those weekends great, but the brotherhood that was built.  Over time, the football was replaced with card games, brew, jokes and laughter for hours.  Horace was always there. smile from ear to ear!  A contagious smile. You had no choice but to smile back. After parenthood, we hadn’t seen each other for a few years. Out of the blue, he offered me tickets to Comic-con and went out of his way to meet me close by with his whole family in tow.  We were older, both with kids, but the smiles, conversations, and laughs stayed the same. It’s like we had still been kicking it every weekend. We planned to get our families together, and let our kids play thinking about how cool it would be to see the next generation building friendship the way we once did. Horace was a man that left an everlasting impression on the people he came across. He loved his family and friends and was the guy who would always diffuse conflict.  He loved his girls and talked about his family as if it was his greatest success!  I’m so proud to have been able to call him friend.  Until we meet again my friend...

Horace, you will be so missed. It's unreal that you're not here. I can still hear your voice cracking jokes and see your smile so vividly in my head. You left an everlasting imprint on our hearts and you will NEVER be forgotten. Your daughters will ALWAYS know  what an amazing man and father you were by the memories you left in our hearts forever. We love you so much Horace that it hurts. Nose crew for life. 

Horace, ive known since my days at Morse High School. I recently saw him at Walmart. Shopping with his daughters. And I remember him asking how I was, and how was my health. Knowing that Im on dialysis. Its been ages since I last saw him, but keeping in touch through facebook is what led him to ask how I was doing. When I left Walmart. I thought to myself. Mannn, he's a good guy. Here he is with kids in tow, acting up and he still took the time to see how I was. Horace, rest in peace bro, till we meet again. Perhaps at a Walmart in Heaven. Lol

I will always keep in my mind the way you where as a father of my grandkids, with a smile on your face all the time. We will miss you a lot and I know for sure that you always will keep watching on them from heaven. God bless you Horace🙏❤

Horace was both my student and my student aide during his senior year at Morse. One of my colleagues, Dr. Patricia Oyeshiku (aka "Mrs. O"), also taught Horace; she said he was a great guy who would make someone a good husband someday. I agree. My best memory of Horace was how excited he was when I asked him to drive my Ford F-150 from the blacktop near my classroom back to the staff parking lot. He was so honored to be trusted with my prize possession that his face lit up (those who know him know he had one of the greatest smiles ever seen on this planet). My heart goes out to his family and friends. He was a sweet, sweet guy. 

I personally do not know Horace, but I am her to send my condolences to the fiancé and his daughters. I am so so sorry for your loss. 

I'll never forget your smile and words of encouragement when I was down.  Thank you for being there for me especially during High School when I felt lost and alone.  My only regret is not being there for your family now that we all morn your loss.   You were a great friend with such a wonderful personality.  You've been taken from us too early, I will continue to pray for your family especially for your fiance and kids.  You'll be missed dear friend may you rest in peace.  

That bright smile will never be forgotten!!

I’ll remember your easy nature, your ready smile, your way of keeping the family together.  Your departure has left a gaping hole in our lives that can never be filled.  We will all watch over the girls for you.  We love you Junior.  

I will never forget his smile. The first time I met him was at a his twins first birthday party.  I ended up holding one of the twins. Always the attentive father,  our eyes met. He gave that big Horace smile, and I knew we would always be cool. The last time we spoke, we talked  about, his girls and Sasha. And about the stupid things people do! I see his smile in his girls. Part of him will alway be with us!
