O God, by whose mercy the faithful departed find rest, bless this grave, and send your holy angel to watch over it.

Lord, comfort those who mourn and sustain them with the hope of eternal life.

Lord Jesus Christ, by your own three days in the tomb, you hallowed the graves of all who believe in you and so made the grave a sign of hope that promises resurrection even as it claims our mortal bodies.

Merciful Lord, turn toward us and listen to our prayers: open the gates of paradise to your servant and help us who remain to comfort one another with assurances of faith, until we all meet in Christ and are with you and with our loved one forever.

Into your gentle keeping, O Lord, we commend this child of God. Though our hearts are troubled, we find hope in your loving kindness.

May the angels lead you into paradise: may the martyrs come to welcome you.

May choirs of angels welcome you.

This time 3 years ago we received many calls,  “hey find out where is tata what’s going on”. We called so many hospitals and not one would let us know if George Ruiz was admitted.  It took 2 days until a doctor finally called to inform us of the condition tata was in. This time, now 3 years ago.  We got the news that tata wasn’t in good condition and that he needed help breathing :’( it broke our hearts, Doctors took him off the ventilator and his breathing was still very weak, at this point his heart was also weak.  Tata was able to hear the voice of his baby girl. He was asked to wait for us. Tata couldn’t wait for long. The long drive from San Diego to Vallejo just took way too long. We didn’t make it in time.  We got to Vallejo got a room with the girls and went right away to see tata. He was at peace for some reason he looked like he had a lil smile. But for us it was so devastating. He was there, unresponsive, he finally was able to go on his new journey. I remember seeing you tata like it was just yesterday. I know life goes on and I know you want us to remember you happy and the silly tata we had known you to be. I will treasure our memories in my heart forever.  I love you🌹

Merry Christmas Tata, we will have you even closer to our hearts this holiday season. We miss you, especially our long drives during this time of year.  Watch over your baby girls for us. We all love and miss you soo much.

The real Ruiz family,  that Tata created. One of the most precious ones sacred to his heart, love that is so pure.  No ones else can compare to. His babygirls . His  heart, his family.  His grandchildren - no women’s love can ever compare to his family. The real Ruiz family. Have the respect he so much deserves.  My Tata I will see you in my dreams.  Nobody understands how much I miss you.
 I miss how much we used to talk, I try not to admit it to myself  that I still feel this way. Nobody knows that  I still wake up  thinking of you each day.  It broke my heart to lose you, 
But you didn’t go alone. For part of me went with you, the day god took you home.
