Gary Larson

On Wednesday September 25, 2019 Gary Lee Larson, Loving Son, Brother, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and Friend passed away at the age of 73. Gary was born in Duluth Minnesota to Roy and Sylvia Larson on July 23, 1946. He was a skilled carpenter and custom home builder. He taught all 3 sons his trade and how to be in business for themselves. He was a loyal member of The Anchor church where he would graciously use his skill set to help anyone in need.

Gary was an avid collector with over 70 documented collections. His most prized was his collection of Winchester guns. He would often go to gun shows where he would proudly display his collection and talk to visitors and vendors who shared his same passion. Gary’s family was very dear to him and he spent as much time as possible with them. When he wasn’t with his family, he enjoyed working with his gun collection - cleaning, researching, documenting, fixing and gunsmithing. In his younger years he also enjoyed hunting.

Gary is survived by his Mother Sylvia Larson, Sisters Joan Hansen (Mike) and Debbie Nigro (Victor), his children Michael Larson (Cassie), Jason Larson (Stefanie), Sandi Larson, Seth Larson (Marianna) and Sara Miller. Also, his grandchildren, Lisa Sayklay, Christian, Zachary, Kennedy, Kailey, Harlo Zizzo, Caige, Paisley, Tyler Stidman, Tanner Stidman, Hunter Miller, Hayden Miller and Hannah Miller. As well as his great grandchildren, Scarlett and Evelynn Sayklay
