She was the sixth child of nine including Luzviminda, Josefino, Angelina, Loreto, Mario, Feliciana, Ernesto, and Teresita.
As an active kid, her siblings could only describe her as malikot, with sticky hair and darkened skin.
She attended Wawa Elementary School before entering Sierra Madre High School and graduating in 1975.
Understanding the value of education, she continued her studies at Marian College where she pursued her passion in healthcare.
After she migrated to the United States in April of 1987 with many of her siblings, she worked at Yakitori Restaurant waitressing beside her father by day and at an electronics company by night.
Upon rekindling an interest in the health profession, Flora quit her jobs to further her education in nursing as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
She progressed in the field and worked multiple jobs to financially assist her family.
Through her work ethic, Flora came to be known as a kind, generous, and loving individual who placed other’s needs before her own.
Because of Flora’s kindness and desire to always help her family and others, she decided to further her career by pursuing her studies at Grossmont Community College in 2006 in preparation in becoming a California Registered Nurse.
This prestigious endeavour of receiving her RN license was achieved in July of 2008.
On June 20, 2006, Flora married the love of her life, Ramon Kho, and together they bettered their lives and those who surrounded them. Flora and Ramon were strengthened by their love of family and God. She was a faithful and dedicated follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. Anyone describing Flora would conjure images full of her bright smile, stereophonic laughter, and infinite love for those in her life.
She never met anyone she could not become friends with in the span of a kiss and hug.
Her many nieces and nephews remember her as an Auntie who they could always confide and identify with as a second mother.
In the family, she is known as the ultimate fashionista, with an external beauty that pales in comparison to her radiant soul within. Though she lived a comfortable life,
she never failed to stay humble and lend a helping hand. If she was not working, she could be seen spending time in the company of family.
On June 7, 2014, after several months of fighting Lupus and other medical complications, Flora passed away in the company of loved ones. Even in her last moments, Flora showed her boundless love for her family.
She will always be remembered as a courageous and loving daughter, sister, wife, Aunt, Tita-Lola, and friend.
