This past year has allowed a lot of time to reminisce and think about the people that have come into my life and who you remember fondly.  It was my intent to reach out to people who helped me along the way to where I am now. I regret not being able to thank  Eugene personally. He gave me a job when I needed it and was always, caring, understanding and patient. To the Bartlett Family, my condolences and love. May the Lord comfort you and give you peace. 

The photos in the tribute show a man that lived his life loving and committed to family and service.  Eugene's smile and gentle twinkle in his eyes are in every picture.  Norma, children, grands and greats - your blessings were huge because of him and the circle of blessings grew larger as your family was a blessing to many others.   Now your loss is huge.  As cousins we ache with you yet we rejoice for the soon coming happy day of reunions when Eugene will smile again.

Dear Bartlett Family,  
I am so sorry to learn of Eugene’s passing.  Eugene and Norma and all the kids hold such a special place in my heart.  We have been apart for many years but the memories are so sweet.  We sat close to each other each Sabbath morning.  I was often a guest in their home.  Eugene and Sandy took my daughter Patty in to their home when she did an internship in Sacramento.  Connie worked for me in the office at the Academy.  Eugene and I were friends and colleagues at the Academy.   This loss is so bittersweet for your family.  We will all be together again soon.
