Estela L. Del Rosario

She was born to Francisco Lupena and Valeriana Tayag on April 4, 1920 in Paco, Manila, Philippines. She had three sisters, Marcela, Amparo, Aurora, and five brothers, Romulo, Rodolfo, Justiniano, Arturo and Edmundo. Other family includes 24 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She attended La Concordia College. She exchanged vows with Fidel Del Rosario Sr., on April 18, 1940. They were married for 53 years until Fidel passed away in 1993. They had 10 children – Fe, Juanito (Del), Esperanza (Piring), Virgilio (Jing), Caridad (Karen), Margarita (Margie), Elizabeth (Beth), Fidel Jr. (June), Rolando (Boyet) and Christine (Christie).

Estela enjoyed cooking, baking and caring for children. She found the greatest joy from traveling with her daughters, Beth and Margie, and spending time with family and great grandchildren. She enjoyed volunteering at children school. She lived a very fulfilled life. She was loved by everyone that she met and was adored by her family.

Estela will be remembered for simplicity, compassion, beautiful smile, and great love for family and friends. She leaves a family legacy that will last forever.
