I want to give you my deepest sympathy.  I lost my husband last year, so I understand the intense grief you are going through.  It feels like your heart has been ripped in half, and your whole world has stopped.  It is so hard to imagine life without the love of your life,  and bedtime is the worst.  There will be many sleepless nights, but trust in Jesus.  Lean on Him and allow Him to carry you through this valley.  God is good; He has been faithful in the past, and He will continue to be faithful.  You also have the blessed assurance that one day you and Jr. will be reunited, and will share eternity with the Lord!

Dear Barbara,
I want to give you my deepest sympathy in the loss of your son.  I think the only thing worse than the loss of a spouse, is the loss of a child.  My heart breaks for you and the family. I pray that the Lord will give you strength during this difficult time.  From what I have read, Jr. was a good godly man.  Jr. served our country, and you can be very proud of the man you raised. May you find peace in knowing that Jr. has arrived.  He is no longer suffering, but is beholding the beauty of the Lord.  We can only imagine what Jr. is seeing right now. God bless you and the family, and may He give you a peace that passes all understanding.

Elias, I am pretty sure you know how much you are missed. You have touched so many lives here on earth, that it is very difficult to grasp the reality that you are not physically here with us. From the day my Sister introduced you to all of us, you became a very loved member of our Family.  Everyone enjoyed your company at each and gathering.  Specially during the Holidays. We will miss your cheerful greeting, "HELLO  FAMILY" as you would walk thru the door with a big smile , holding lots of bags of presents  or food for our gatherings.  Also your hugs, since you already know we really aren't the hugging type 😉. I am very glad to know that you always felt at home with us.  Thank you for being a great role model to my children, and a Loving "GREAT UNCLE" to Damien and Zeli who both have a great love for you too. As for my Sister Yolly, I thank God for having met your paths. You both complimented each other well. Anyone who saw the both of you together would really see TRUE LOVE. So as the saying goes, " It's not the amount of time you have with each other, It's the QUALITY of of time you spend with the ones you LOVE that matters. And that is truly whay you did with each and everyone of us.  Thank you for all the memories my BROTHER! May GOD bless you for all eternity.

June 11th, 2020; I shall never forget this day as this specific period of time remarks the day my family and I lost someone essential to our lifes; who brought each and every one of us nothing but pure happiness and laughter, and I'm sure everyone can agree. Growing up with Yolly as my God-Mother and sleeping over numerous times as a kid, I can say that I've experienced a great amounts of pivotal moments in the growth of Yolly's true happiness journey. Seeing Yolly grow as a "young and wild" individual into wifey mode, brings me so much joy to finally see her truly happy. And it was all done by my uncle Elias. I will always remember my uncle Elias as the "light of the party" as well as the preventer of ackward situations. He brought the much needed light into my family as everyone now and days are very sentitive, and my uncle Elias had a range of jokes lined up even for the most sentivies ones to break a smirk. He made it a interal misson to make everyone around him smile or laugh atleast once before leaving any event he attended (even my grandma, even though he didn't know any spanish, it didn't stop him). I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and I believe his reason to enter this chaotic, confusing, separated, hard-to-understand family of mine was to shed light upon what we can do as a family together as opposed to individually. This was ultimately a mark of realization, and it was done by 1 man who put differences aside and tried to get along with everyone to bring everyone closer, and it was done with nothing but laughter. Him being apart of United States Navy, he was the only one who believed and encouraged me to continue with my passion of the military. So therefore, I dedicate all my years of serivce in the United States Army to the one man who truly changed my life but most importantly my God-Mother Yolly. I hope he may rest in peace and his legacy he's built in this family to continue to live.

Elias was a great man and great husband to yoly. Every time I would see him with yoly I could tell he was an amazing loving man to her, he had a great heart and was a very giving person. It is extremely saddening that he passed away. Elias is in heaven now with God and is no longer suffering. May you rest in eternal peace Elias, we will take care of yoly 🙏🏻❤️

I love you and i thank you for being the best Nino/Uncle growing up. I’m so thankful that i was able to spend summers with you and my cousins. Playing board games out riding bikes, scooters everything, going to Legoland we were always outside. Loosing you even though we all knew it was happening, was/is very hard it’s like my brain can’t or doesn’t want to process it. You have been there for every milestone of my life, and it’s crazy to think your not here anymore. I’m thankful that my kids are at an age of understanding who you are to me.  We Love you! I met Elias while working at CMSD. He always had a smile to brighten up your day and it was always a pleasure to work with him over the years. He was one of the good guys for sure!  
It was so shocking to hear that he had passed. I can’t imagine the loss you must be feeling. I will keep your family lifted up in prayer. My heart goes out to you all during this most difficult time. May Elias Rest In Peace.

My condolences to the family, I only new Elias a short period of time, working with him. I remeber speaking to him in spanish and after he would say "I have no clue about what you said, I dont speak spanish".  He loved his family. Joly, I never got to meet you but he loved you very much spoke about you everyday. He will be missed very much. 

I told Yolly that you always hear about these things happening to other people, but never expect them to happen to someone you know.  I left CMSD feeling like some of the people I worked with were more than just coworkers, they were  friends.  I considered Yolly & Elias to be a part of that group, so learning of the progression of his illness was heartbreaking. I am glad Elias is not feeling any pain now, but I continue to be heartbroken for Yolly, and his family.
Elias was funny, and nice whenever I had a question, and he had the best poker face ever. I never knew when he was making fun of me until he rolled his eyes.  His is a loss that is felt in many different circles, and I wish the family, and especially Yolly, peace and strength during this difficult time. 

It was so special getting to know you, Elias. I know the times we spoke were some of the most difficult. I was inspired by your kindness, faith and sense of humor. I appreciate your ability to express heartfelt prayers one minute and to joke about the Super Bowl half time show the next.  Yolly, thank you for keeping me informed and inviting me to continue praying with you. Prayers for you and all the family as you share meaningful memories and support one another.
