My condolences to the Ruiz family and loved ones I'm so sorry for your loss. Danny thank you for being such a great friend to me in high school. I'll always remember  your positive attitude  and smile. 

Danny was an amazing man. Funny, very caring for others, someone you can count on but also don’t get him twisted, he didn’t take crap from no one. He put me in my place a few times back in the day. I haven’t seen Danny in 6 years yet stayed in contact. Danny made a huge impact in my life. He’s part of one of the best highlights of my life. He was your boy to party with but also your boy when you needed him the most. I was going through our old text messages and we where talking about how we went from party animals to responsible dads and he was expressing just how much he enjoyed being a father. 
Mr Ruiz, I’m so sorry. We are all hurting, and bad, but we can’t even imagine the pain you have in your heart. I do want to thank you for raising and sharing such a beautiful human and personally had the pleasure to call my friend. Gone but I assure you, will never be forgotten. 
Danny I love you bro. I know this is not a goodbye but more of a see you later and when I see you again, we’ll enjoy the sounds of reggae in heaven. Rest easy brotha. 

You opened your heart and your doors, welcomed me into the family and NEVER let go. Forever telling me the Chargers are better than the Niners and letting me know you wouldn’t shame me if I ever decided to switch up. Loving me genuinely and unconditionally after finding I was the reason for the breakup, still inviting me to your house warming, the kids’ birthdays, your birthday, or just to come in when the kids and I would pass your house on the way to the park. You would catch me up how the family was doing and always reminding me, your door was just up the street. Danny, I still can’t believe this. We’re all at a loss. Your memories will stay with me forever and I won’t forget to bring Dani her flowers or balloons on her birthday and I’ll give Eddie big hugs and get those cheeks no matter how grown he gets. I’d talk crap asking how you got BOTH kids named after you, but it’s because you were that much of a man, and it was undeniable. May you rest in love!

You were one of my best friends for years.. I love you bro! We grew up, became parents and drifted apart but it was always nice to see you on holidays, your dad's birthday, some fathers days.. I'll miss your laughs, your big hugs and most of all, I'll miss watching you be such an outstanding and extremely loving father to your 2 beautiful children. I'll miss you Danny.. very much. If I could go back in time and relive those amazing field days one more time with all our buddies, I'd spark one up and turn the music up real loud and we'd all talk our shit and have some laughs. Thank you for those amazing memories and thank you for the love you showed us all. I promise to be there for your kids whenever they need anything. I'll never ever forget you!
