Drena D. Steljes

Drena D. Steljes, 65, passed away January 16, 2013. She was born July 1, 1947 in Martinez, CA and was a resident of San Diego for 37 years. She was survived by her two sons, Shane M. and Rhett D. Steljes, her brother Joseph Giannini and spouse Yvonne of Oregon, and sister Connie Lucy of Illinois.

Drena was a team leader of the Chula Vista Target where she was a dedicated and loved employee of 27 years. She loved “Gone With the Wind”, collected many elephants, and was a sports enthusiast. While her sons were growing up playing Pop Warner football and Lucky Waller baseball she was an involved, dedicated parent volunteer devoting her time for not only her sons but also other children in the programs.

Please join us in a celebration of her life on Friday, January 25, 2013 at palm Ridge Park located on the corner of Palm Avenue and Firethorn Avenue off the 805 Freeway from 1 – 3:30 PM.
