Everyone’s life is the sum total of all of the people they have met, the things they have done, the places they have gone. Carlos Ramos was no exception. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Carlos will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
Carlos was born on March 15, 1970 in Los Angeles, California to Jaime Ramos and Felicitas Martinez. He was raised in National City, California with five siblings, Jaime, Lupe, Marcelino, Marcos and Vicente. He attended and graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1989.
Carlos found his one true love, Paulette early in life and was married to her on September 27, 1997. The ceremony took place at St. Jude’s Church in San Diego, California. He was a devoted husband whose unwavering love for his wife was the foundation on which he built his greatest accomplishments.
While everything a person does in life contributes to who they grow into, it is ultimately this same person who holds the most influence on the next generation. Carlos was blessed with two children, Priscilla and Matthew Carlos. He was an accomplished father who taught his children the difference between right and wrong. He achieved this not just by telling them but more importantly by the example he set for them every day. His love, respect and admiration for his children was unconditional. He always had a smile that showed how proud he was of them.
How a person performs in the workplace can be a reflection on how they live their life. Fortunately, Carlos enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Carlos worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career as a Pharmacy Tech. He was employed for 15 years.
Carlos enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in a number of different activities, including playing soccer and running. He was always willing to share his interests with others.
Carlos Ramos left us on October 3, 2011. He passed away in Chula Vista, California. He is survived by his loving wife Paulette; daughter Priscilla; and son Matthew Carlos. Services were handled by Glen Abbey Mortuary. A funeral mass was held at St. Anthony of Padua Church in National City on October 10, 2011. Carlos was laid to rest at Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego, California.
Carlos was a man of integrity and morality. He never spoke of his great achievements in life he just showed them. Carlos gave love to his family, friends and people who were lucky enough to know him. Carlos treated everyone the way people should treat one another and it always showed. Carlos leaves behind him a legacy of lifelong friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life Carlos Ramos touched will always remember him with a smile.
