Carlos lived a full and adventurous life, dedicating years of service to his country in the US Navy for 24 years, and in his community as a 32-degree Scottish Rite Freemason, and a Knight’s of the Columbus member. In retirement, he cherished moments spent playing poker, discussing guns, enjoying movies, and most importantly, treasuring time with his beloved family.
He is survived by his loving wife Jovita, his children Liza, Charles, Junne, his 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A visitation for Carlos will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Chapel of the Roses, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A visitation will occur Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A graveside service will occur Monday, March 4, 2024 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Drive, San Diego, CA 92122.
