He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Marina Hagoriles, as well as his 9 children; his 25 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, all of whom were fortunate to experience the warmth and wisdom of his presence. He was preceded in death by his eldest daughter, Nema Pyper, who is lovingly remembered alongside him.
Born and raised in the Philippines, he lived a life marked by service, resilience and dedication. He proudly served in the Army of the United States Philippine Scouts and was a WW2 Veteran, a role he cherished with honor and pride. His military service will never be forgotten.
A hardworking man throughout his life, Bonifacio found joy in simple pleasures, whether driving on the open road, sharing stories from his remarkable past, or cherishing moments spent with his great-grandchildren. His unwavering love for his family, his strength in times of difficulty, and his deep commitment to those he held dear are the qualities that will define his memory.
Bonifacio’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, knowing his love and strength will continue to guide his family for years to come.
A viewing for Bonifacio will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Chapel of the Roses at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita CA 91902. All friends and family are welcome. A funeral service will be on the following day at 9:30 am.
