Aurelia D. Flores, age 90, of Chula Vista, California passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025. She was married to her husband of 65 years, Abelardo. She is also survived by her 3 children Abelardo, Joselia and Jasmin. Aurelia was blessed with three grandchildren, Jared, Allison and Tyler.
Aurelia was born in the Philippines, studied at University of Santo Tomas, and briefly worked as a teacher before getting married. Her husband, Abelardo, being in the U.S. Navy, she immigrated to the United States with her three children in 1971. She balanced being a wife and mother and working as an inspector for Kyocera Electronics.
A visitation for Aurelia will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 2, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi Parish, 450 Corral Canyon Rd, Bonita, CA 91902. A committal service will occur Friday, May 2, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
