Albert Abiva Ayson Sr. (August 28, 1948 - July 13, 2022) was born in Sto. Nino, San Felipe, Zambales, Philippines to Benita and Gervacio Ayson. He was extremely proud to have served honorably in the United States Navy for 27 years and for the federal government for 23 years before retiring in 2016. Albert’s favorite hobby was fishing at Shelter Island and taking care of his fruits and vegetables he planted in the backyard. He enjoyed spending time with and cooking for his vast network of family and friends, while helping any one who needed his advice, company, and support.
Albert is survived by his wife, Erlinda, their 6 children, Mark (Leslie), Mary Ann, Christopher, Menandro (Katherine), Jeffrey and Albert Jr. (Alan) and the family dog, Snow White. He is also survived by three precious granddaughters, Layla, Lorianna and Lania. In addition, he is survived by three brothers, Wilson, Eduard and Benzon and so many family and friends that loved him dearly. He is predeceased by his parents as well as two siblings, Herminio and Linda.
