William Francis Armstrong Jr.

Mr. Armstrong was born in New York, NY, on January 10, 1929 and was the son of the late William

Francis Armstrong, Sr. and Oreal Murray Armstrong. He was a retired steam fitter. He will always be

remembered for being sociable, friendly, generous and just an all around fun loving man.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Armstrong, and children, Patricia Sullivan,

Jacqueline Lambertson, Tina Lambertson, and Lorraine Herring.

He is survived by children, William Francis Armstrong III of Leland, NC, Robert Davis Armstrong of Powder Springs, GA, and Elizabeth Armstrong Foster of Norfolk, VA; stepdaughters, Joyce Zaborowski and Joan Kinney; grandchildren, Angela, Jordan, Katherine, Stephanie, William IV, Robbie, Christopher, Michael, Sean, Kenneth, Dakota and Dylan; great-grandchildren, Elliot, Emma, Anna, Gavin, Nina, Madeline, Meredith, Lucas, George, Avery Anne, Remington, Grayson, Camryn, Sean, Savannah, Chloe, Iris and Kenzio.
