Tina was born on October 20, 1949 to the late Milton Paul and Barbara Wilkerson Gunter. She graduated from High school in Forest Park, GA, where she was a member of the swim team. She worked for Delta Airlines until she married Dwight Knox on May 1, 1973. She and Dwight raised five children and had twelve grandchildren. She was a member of the School Board, loved cooking, and being with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in passing by her parents as well as her sister, Angela Gunter.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Dwight Knox; her children, Clinton Knox and wife Paula, Amy Clemmons and husband Brian, Wes Knox and wife Amanda, Cody Knox and wife Sarah, and Dustin Knox and Hilary; her twelve grandchildren, Colby, Mason, Lucas, Abby, Joseph, Aidan, Eli, Josh, Lily, Blake, Wyatt and Wade; and a whole host of other friends and extended family too numerous to name.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at one o'clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service, Bolivia/Supply Chapel, 603 Ocean Highway East, Bolivia, NC with the Rev. Anthony Clemmons officiating. Burial will follow in the David R. Mercer Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at White Funeral and Cremation Service.
