Sandra Diane McCumbee Ross

Sandra was born in San Diego, CA, on the eighth of October, 1942 to the late Thomas and Lillian Rook McCumber. She was active in her community. Sandra was a member of the Holden Beach VFW Post #8866 Ladies Auxiliary and volunteered with Hope Harbor’s Hope Chest Thrift Store.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband, of forty six years, Stephen A. Ross, Sr., her sons, Terry and Leslie Ross of Virginia Beach, VA and Darel and Kimberley Ross of Stanley, NC and her stepsons Stephen and Terri Ross, Jr of Nashville, TN, Alan and Becky Ross of Huntersville, NC and Troy D. Ross of Boca Raton, FL, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of customary remembrances the family requests with gratitude that monetary donations be made in her name to the Brunswick County Sherriff Office, K9 Program, PO Box 9, Bolivia, NC 28422.
