Ruth P Evans

Ruth is the daughter of the late Donnie Prevatte and Nettie Stone Prevatte. She loved all animals, especially dogs and cats. Ruth loved working in her garden during the day and reading a book at night. When she wasn’t reading, Ruth enjoyed sewing. She was an awesome cook and baking cakes was her specialty. She loved her family and ice cream. Ruth was a compassionate person especially to the sick and poor and was of the Baptist faith. Along with her parents, Ruth was also predeceased by her husband, Fred Wilson Evans.

Ruth is survived by her son, Fred W. Evans, Jr. and wife, Laura of Southport, NC; daughter, Rhonda Rardin and husband, Randy, of Southport, NC; sister, Jewel Vann of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren, Fred Evans III and wife, Dianna, and Jessica Morse and husband, Justin; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Evans, Dean Evans, Siena Evans, Florence Evans, Madison Morse, Abigail “Abby” Morse, Colton Morse and Brycen Morse.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at eleven o’clock in the morning at White Funeral Service, Bolivia Chapel, 603 Ocean Highway East, Bolivia, NC. Pastor John Roy will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Ezra International, PO Box 361757, Melbourne, Florida 32936.
