Devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Patricia Anne Boraski, passed away suddenly on November 20, 2021 at her home in Supply, NC surrounded by her loving family at the age of 74. Patricia was also commonly known as “Dollbaby”, as well as Patty, Mom/Ma and G-ma until her parting.
She met the love of her life when she was just fourteen years old while her family was living in New York. Patty and John met on a blind date at his mom’s Carvel ice cream stand and there is where a story of a sixty year love began. They became known as Dollbaby and Little John.
Patricia completed her associate degree in finance at Sacred Heart University, Stamford Campus, in Connecticut. Patricia was the accounts payable and finance controller at The Perrier Group of America in Greenwich, Connecticut for nineteen years. During this time, she was also a loving wife and mother with whom she devoted her time selflessly, without missing a beat, with her children’s PTAs and sport affiliations.
Her battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed her courage and tenacity in facing every day’s life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Patricia came out very much a brave hero and stayed strong and positive until the end.
Patricia was a sweet and loving woman that put everyone’s needs and wants before her own. Anyone who had the joy of knowing her always said “she was a woman with the biggest heart they had ever known”, which stood true throughout her entire life.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey L. and Suzanne Evans; infant brother, Harvey L. Evans, Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty five years, John W. Boraski of Supply, NC; son, Andrew J. Boraski (Michelle) of Bethel, CT; daughter, Susan Boraski (Dawn Badger) of Supply, NC; granddaughters, Hailey A. Boraski (Michael Meighan) of Ash, NC, Christina S. Boraski and Katherine Boraski both of Bethel, CT; grandson, John B. Boraski, currently serving in the U.S. Navy, of Great Lakes, IL; siblings, Stephen L. Evans (Ida) of Supply, NC and Linda S. Hewett (R.E.) of Shallotte, NC; her precious pet, Maggie May.
Mom, you are the most beautiful soul ever known. How sweet it is to be loved by you.
