Kenneth was born in Alamance County, NC on the twenty first of September 1949. God sent him to the NC Boys Home to change his life during his childhood. “Stick” was the nickname given to Kenneth by Jiggs Power and it has remained to this day. During his life he has served his Lord by being a Deacon, Chairman of the Building & Grounds Committee, and sound man at the First Baptist Church of Lake Waccamaw. He was an avid Duke fan, and worked for International Paper for thirty four years.
Surviving are the loves of his life, his wife of fifty years, Diane Fletcher Smith; two daughters, Carina Mariah Rivenbark and husband Rev. Clayton Rivenbark of Bolivia, NC, Candy Jo Baker and husband Jamie of Denver, NC and a grandson Joshua Rivenbark of Asheville, NC.
Funeral services will be eleven o’clock in the morning of Wednesday the fifteenth of August 2018 in the First Baptist Church of Lake Waccamaw. Burial will follow in the Lake Waccamaw Hillcrest Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Ed Beauchamp, Bud Cook, Bobby Jordan, Kevin Powell, Kendal Powell and Yates Powell.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mitchell Barnes, Spencer Duncan, Kevin Wayne, Frank Carol, Curtis McGurt and Sony Creech.
