Kathy Fitzgerald

Born in Massillon, OH on the thirteenth of March 1948, she was the daughter of the late Harold Reid and Norma Jean Bash Dryden. Kathy was a graduate of Washington High School and McKinley Business School. After college she worked for, Perry Local Schools of Massillon, OH, Coastal Vacation Resorts of Holden Beach, NC, Joe and Moe’s Automotive of Shallotte, NC and EMCS, Inc of Greensboro, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of twenty-eight years, Timothy Steven Fitzgerald, Sr. who passed away on seventeenth of September, 2017.

Survivors include a son, Daniel Arnold and wife Melissa of Winston-Salem, NC; a daughter, Melinda Anne “Mindi” Long of Varnamtown, NC; a brother, Hank and wife Kathy Remenaric Dryden; grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne “Lizzie” and husband Isaac Furr, Timothy Long, Christopher Long, Nathaniel Arnold, Abigail Noah; three stepchildren; as well as “The Boys” Joey and Marley Fitzgerald, her canine companions.

A service to celebrate both Kathy and Tim’s life will be held at seven o’clock in the evening of Friday the eighth of December 2017 in the chapel of White Funeral & Cremation Service, Bolivia/Supply chapel.
