John David Sims Jr.

He was born on January 12, 1948 to the late John David Sims and Bessie Louise Ellis in Alamance County, North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Linnens Sims; significant other, Kathy Richardson; sister, La-Juan Russell.

Those left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Staci Sims; son, Jeffrey Alan Sims (wife, Lisa); sisters, Janelle Taylor (husband, Ervin), Carol Henson (husband, Tom); grandchildren, Hannah Sims, Matthew Murray, Zachary Terrell, and Lauren Morrow (husband, Joe); great granddaughter, Emersyn; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
