Janice Holden Roach

She was born in Brunswick County on December 2, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Clyde Holden and Audrey Coleman Holden. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Leitch.

Janice loved serving the Lord. She was a very active member of Ogden Baptist Church where she was a member of the Gladys Williams Sunday School Class and also served as class president for many years. She loved spending time on the water and enjoyed eating seafood, especially oysters and crab legs. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are her children, Douglas Lanier Roach, and wife, Danielle, and Pamela Colwell, and husband, Albert, both of Wilmington, NC; brother, Gene Holden, of Wilmington, NC; six grandchildren, Samantha Koch and husband, Lee, Sydney Barker, Trevor Roach and wife, Alison, Seth Roach and wife, Hailey, Matthew Colwell, and a honorary grandson, Jeremy Prince; two great-grandchildren, Waylon Roach and Lainey Mae Koch.

Funeral services will be at one o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 in Ogden Baptist Church with the Reverend Stephen Grubb officiating.

There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Holden Family Cemetery in Supply, North Carolina.
