Mr. Gene Allen Caison, Jr., 53, of Supply died Sunday March 27, 2016. Mr. Caison was born in New Hanover County on November 30, 1962 and was the son of Judy M. Caison of Bolivia and the late Gene Allen Caison Sr. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Tony Caison. Gene Allen retired from the Brunswick County Sheriffs Department after 30 years of Service. His career with the Sheriffs office began with the patrol division and he later was a detective and then a detective with the Major Crimes Division and then Captain over the Detective Division and prior to his retirement he served as a liaison for the District Attorney's Office. He was a member of Shallotte Lodge 727 A.F. & A.M. Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Renee Long Caison; two children, Kristen Isenhour and husband Bryan of Holden Beach, Ryan Caison of the home; a brother, Greg Caison and wife Angel of Bolivia, Father and Mother In-Law, Mack and Jackie Long of Supply; Brother In-Law, Malcolm Long and wife Emily of Shallotte; ten nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 30, 2016 at 3pm at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Reverend Anthony Clemmons and Reverend Gary Boling officiating. Burial will follow in the Royal Oak Cemetery, Supply. Pallbearers will be members of the Brunswick County Sheriffs Department Honor Guard. Honorary pallbearers will be, Ed Carter, James Brown, Kevin Holden, Joey Scoggins, Keith Smith, Mark Jarman, Phil Perry, Donnell Marlowe, Mark Francisco, David Crocker, Sam Davis, Mark Trull. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at Mt.
