Dan was born in Midland, Michigan on the fourth of November 1974 to Mrs. Dorothy May Tanner of Saginaw, MI and the late Carl Tanner. He attended Seaside United Methodist Church, Sunset Beach, NC and loved to sing in the choir on certain occasions. Dan was gifted in musical arts and attended Anderson University in Anderson, IN as a music major and was awarded the John Phillip Sousa Award. He will be remembered as an intelligent man with a generosity for his fellow man.
Surviving are his mother, Dorothy Tanner of Saginaw, MI; a sister, Noreda Tanner and a special friend, Kathleen "Mrs. Kitty" White of Carolina Shores.
Memorial services will be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Monday the third of December 2018 in Seaside United Methodist Church with The Reverend Stefanie Riley officiating.
A Celebration of life will be held at one o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday the eighth of December 2018 in the First Church of God, 1834 N. Charles, Saginaw, MI 48602.
