Betty was born in Brunswick County on the fifteenth of March 1935 to the late Stacey Earl and Maude Lang Leonard. She was preceded in death by her husband Cederc Ward and a daughter, Barbara Ann Ward.
Surviving are three daughters, Ella Louise Mitchell, Marie Garvin, both of Supply, Sandy Beauch of Michigan; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and her beloved pet, “Barron”.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted in the Hallsboro Church of God, 322 Gyles Byrd Road, Hallsboro, NC at three o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday the fourth of August 2019.
