Born in Ogden, Utah on November 6, 1923 she was the only daughter of Raymondo and Lucia Dettori and younger sister to Rudolph Dettori. She passed away peacefully on the evening of June 17th, 2021.
After graduating from high school she moved to Washington, DC to work for the Department of the Navy. She married Eugene Sheehan in 1944 and for the next 66 years raised 4 children (Kathy, Eileen (Peter Moroney), Kevin (Tracy) and Karen) and was the proud “Mema” to 9 grandchildren (Kimberly Skuta, Kristine Hanks, Megan Whitelaw, Christopher, Kaitlyn and Michael Sheehan, Tina Crane, and David and Michelle Kennedy). Mema also enjoyed her 10 great-grandchildren (Jacob and Kyle Skuta, Ryan and Madisyn Hampton, Tyler Hanks, Kaitlyn, Billie and Rubi Whitelaw, Felysha Kennedy and Jaxon Stevens).
Mema and Grandpa spent their Golden years traveling all over the world. They especially loved visiting their daughter Eileen in Australia and sailed on over 50 cruises. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
