A visitation for William will be held Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Babione - Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1100 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33432. A mass of the Christian burial will occur Monday, January 10, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 370 SW 3rd St, Boca Raton, FL 33432. An entombment will occur Monday, January 10, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at Boca Raton Mausoleum, 451 SW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33432.
William was the son of the late Elias and Olena Senkowicz.
At a young age, William left home and traveled around Europe until he boarded a ship for Canada. It was there in Montreal, that he met his wife Nicole. He worked for Canadair in Montreal as an engineer and retired from there after 25 years. In 1978, he moved his family of six to Boca Raton, FL. He had several different employment and finally ended up working at Florida Atlantic University.
After retiring from FAU, where he worked in the audio-visual department, he enjoyed life and traveled extensively with his wife Nicole.
Surviving William is his wife of 67 years, Nicole, along with his four children Karen, Michael, Suzanne and Eric.
In addition, he was blessed with10 Grandchildren:
Jennifer, Kyle, John, Mitchell, Jeremiah, Roman, Caroline, Zachary, Tyler and Tara as well as five great-grandchildren:
Elise, Andy, Lydia, Oliver and Luca.
William loved to stay busy and live an active lifestyle. He loved gardening and growing flowers, especially orchids. He loved traveling and swimming in his pool or at the beach. He enjoyed watching sports like hockey, skiing, tennis, football and soccer and basketball...
Bill was the original handyman! He was always fixing something around the house or working on cars.
Most importantly, WILLIAM LOVED HIS FAMILY!
He was a very devoted father and husband, and he will be dearly missed by all of us every day!
