Steve Horn aka Bassman from the Bronx, 64 passed on July 24. From street corners in the Bronx to sold out arenas in Germany Steve was a Doo Wop icon who performed with many groups including : The Five Sharks, The Del Vikings, The Imaginations, The Legends of Doo Wop and most recently The Doo Wop Mob. His passion, talent and humor lit up the stage and the lives of anyone who became his friend. Steve was one of the influential forces in reviving Doo Wop from a treasured memory into an art form loved around the world.
