Sheryl S. Lenz, 73, of Boca Raton passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
Sheryl was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on May 19, 1946 a daughter of the late Jack and Elizabeth Stanley. She received her Bachelors in English from Penn State in 1967 and then a Masters Degree in 1985 from Misericordia University in Dallas, PA. Sheryl met her husband, Frank, while working as a stewardess for Pan Am in 1970. Sheryl also worked for the United Way and then as Director of the non-profit Crisis Line; a job of which she was very proud. After leaving Crisis Line, Sheryl continued in various volunteer opportunities. Sheryl was an avid tennis player, loved reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her friends. Sheryl was loved by many for her warmth and kindness and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband Frank and her two sons Matthew and David.
