Whitman, Sandra, 49, passed away November 13, 2011 from a lung illness she had for many years. She was at home surrounded by her family when she entered heaven. After a double lung transplant, she was determined to fight and be around for her two loving children and her devoted husband of 26 years. Sandra has shown courage, love, determination and hope during her battle. Sandra will be remembered for her powerful singing, her love of cooking and entertaining and her devotion to family and friends. Services for Sandra will begin at 12 p.m. with a Memorial Gathering and a 1 p.m. Memorial Service on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Babione Funeral Home, West Chapel.
