Bob was a beloved personality with a great sense of humor who was immediately liked by everyone that he came in contact with. Bob always lived his life to the fullest. He was a licensed private pilot, professional scuba diver, avid boater, oldies buff and a natural athlete who excelled at any sport he tried. Bob was an all-state quarterback who starred for his father, the coach at Linden High School in Linden, New Jersey. He then went on to Amherst College where he played lacrosse and rugby and graduated in 1968. After teaching high school for five years, Bob then proceeded to Seton Hall Law School, where he graduated cum laude as the editor of its Law Review. Following a federal judicial clerkship, Bob worked as a litigation associate for a large New York city law firm and thereafter as litigation counsel for a Fortune 500 corporation. In 1983 , Bob left the active practice of law and founded a legal search firm in Washington, D.C. where he became one of D.C.'s most successful and well-recognized headhunters. From 1994 through 2003, Bob then served as the Career Services Dean at the Duke University School of Law.
For the last seven years, Bob has successfully managed his own legal search firm out of Boca Raton, Florida. As a devoted family man, Bob is survived by his wife, Sarah; his daughters, Rachael and Molly; his son, Michael; his mother, Margaret of Chicago; and his sisters, Pat of Chicago and Kathy of Denver. He also leaves countless friends behind.
