Rey always brought a smile to our faces each day he came in to work. The YouFit Family is mourning over the loss of our teammate.  

Rey was a dear man who brought love and kindness into our church family.  It was wonderful to see him every Sunday.  I  admired his study of the scriptures.  He will be missed and it won't be the same without him there.  
A sweet memory I have is when he was playing with our son once when he was a little boy and he immediately warmed up to Rey and loved his attention.  Very cute to watch.  
 

I remember Rey as someone who was always interested to learn and to study, and a kind and loving man.  We spent the last 30 winters in Florida, and Rey was always there. I last saw him in February, when I had to tell him the sad news that my husband had passed away, and he remembered him so well and we chatted about that.  He was a fixture in our winters, and he will be greatly missed. He showed love to everyone he met.  

I remember Rey since the mid 90s. My Grandpa introduced us at church and Rey never forgot. He always stopped to chat with me whenever he saw me and asked about my kids. Asking to see photos of them and to catch up. He’d tell me stories of my grandpa and we’d talk about Rey’s family and hopes and dreams. We’d have such fun conversations or he’d have me help him read his scriptures if he was having trouble seeing them.  I’m so thankful we stopped to chat a few times lately. I never left a conversation with Rey without us both having a laugh. I believe Rey is flying high on the other side because he was such a pure loving person. I’ll miss him terribly but I will never forget him.

He was in all our lives to teach and he was a scholar- great representation of Christ!
Our community lost a very loving memorable person who united all with love he shared with us and us with him!

Rey is such an example of charity; the pure love of Christ.  As hard as his passing is, I’m sure Heavenly Father needed him in the next life to help with His great work going on there. I have no doubt Rey is prospering in Paradise in ways we can’t even imagine. I wish I had stopped to talk to him the last time I saw him instead of just saying hi Rey, and hurrying on. I promise to be better at showing love as he did and make time to chat. All my love to Rey and his family!
