Nancy DeSalvo

Nancy DeSalvo, age 88, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away on Wednesday February 28, 2024. Nancy was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 2, 1935 to immigrant parents, Serafino Siino of Palermo, Italy and Mary Corrao of Manhattan, New York. She moved to Selden, Long Island, New York where she married and raised her family in Centereach, Long Island, New York; later moving to Boca Raton, Florida with her husband, Peter, after retirement.

A dedicated and loving wife and mother, she was a skilled seamstress and worked many years as an administrative secretary, first in a law office and then for the Middle Country School District on Long Island.

Nancy is survived by her loving two sons, Peter Philip DeSalvo, DMA and Steven DeSalvo, as well as her five grandchildren, Peter James DeSalvo, Jessica DeSalvo Newton, Suzanne Theresa Thomas, Hannah Marie DeSalvo, and Brandon Thomas DeSalvo and her sister Mary DeJesus. Nancy is also blessed with four great grandchildren, Declan Thomas, Teagan Thomas, Rosalind Newton and Dean Newton.

A celebration of life for Nancy will be held Sunday, March 3,2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Babione Funeral Home, 10060 Calle Comercio Drive, Boca Raton, FL 33428. A committal service will take place in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum on Monday, March 4, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Our Lady Queen of Heaven, 1400 S. State Rd. 7, N. Lauderdale, FL 33068.
