Michael Elton Cole

Dr. Michael Elton Cole, born October 18,1963 age 54,of Boca Raton, Fl. passed away peacefully on Sunday October 22, 2017. Being a resident of Boca Raton since 1965 Michael attended St. Andrews and ultimately graduated from the University of Florida with a Veterinarian degree. He went on to practice veterinary medicine along side his mother, Dr. Patricia Anne Cole and Dr. Kelly Phillips. For the last 30 years he continued the legacy his mother left him and touched countless people's lives through their beloved pets and helped multiple rescues with animals in need. Outside of work, he had a passion for concerts, boats, and hiking the Smokey Mountain in Gatlinburg Tennessee. Michael was an avid air boater and outdoor enthusiast. He was a member of the Broward County Airboat Halftrack Conservation Club. Michael had a passion for life and lived it to the fullest. His infectious smile would light up the room. Michael had a personality that was as big as his heart and his truck. His compassion was endless and he would be there for anyone in need at the drop of a hat. He was a wonderful Husband, Son, Uncle and Friend.

Michael is survived by Paula Cole and his Morrison Family John, Barbara and Brianna.

A Memorial Gathering for Michael will be held Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Babione - Kraeer Funeral Home, 1100 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33432.

Donations in Michael’s memory may be made to the Florida Airboats Association, the Everglades Coordinating Council, Humane Society or the ASPCA.
