Michael K Carr

CARR, Michael K., 50, of Boca Raton, FL went home to his Lord on March 5, 2012 after a battle with cancer. Born in Chestnut Hill, PA to Edward and Dorothy Carr, he was raised in Oreland, PA. In 1988, he moved to South Florida and married his beloved Zitta in 1990. A graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and Duquesne University, he had a very successful career in Golf and Hospitality Management. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Blanca (Zitta); and their three beautiful children, Nichole, Kelly, and Andrew. His parents, Edward V. Carr, Sr & Dorothy M. Carr; his siblings, Edward V. Carr, Jr, Stephen G. Carr, Dennis L. Carr, and Dorothy J. Carr-Dudas are also left to cherish his memory. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8PM at Babione Funeral Home, West Boca Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30AM on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Boca Raton with burial and luncheon reception to follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery in North Lauderdale. A celebration of Michael's life will also be held in Oreland, PA.
